Who we are
ConnectSport CIC is supported by a range of influential individuals, ranging from senior journalists and media executives to sport for development experts, Olympians and academics. All are united by their belief in the power of sport to build a better world.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Our Directors are legally responsible for the governance, strategy and financial oversight of ConnectSport CIC. They ensure the organisation delivers its mission, manages risk and operates in accordance with company law and our Articles of Association.
AMBASSADORIAL BOARD
Our Ambassadorial Board is a network of respected leaders, athletes, journalists, academics and community champions who help amplify our mission, open doors and champion Sport for Change. Ambassadors are not company directors and do not hold legal governance responsibilities.
STAFF
Our team brings together expertise in sport for development, communications and business development to help communities tell their stories, build partnerships and demonstrate impact. Together, we're working to make sport a stronger force for positive change.
CONTRIBUTORS
Working in partnership with Universities, ConnectSport CIC supports and trains students keen to promote the positive social and environmental impact of sport. We also welcome submissions on 'sport for change' from other writers, especially those from less well-represented groups in journalism, for example people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities; disabled people, and women and girls.
