Football Beyond Borders

Football Beyond Borders is an education charity which uses football as an engagement tool to provide young people with the opportunity to achieve their goals and fulfil their potential. We do this through our football-themed, literacy curriculum which puts a young person’s passion for football at the heart of their education.

Football Foundation

The Football Foundation was launched in 2000 by the Premier League, The Football Association and the Government as a charitable vehicle to direct their joint grassroots sports investment into the areas of greatest need and where it will have the greatest impact.

TackleAfrica

TackleAfrica uses the power of football to provide young Africans with the knowledge, confidence and services to realise their sexual health rights and help protect themselves and their communities from HIV.

We train African coaches to deliver specially designed football coaching sessions with in-built sexual health messages, and link young people to sexual health services at tournaments.

Dame Kelly Holmes Trust

Every year the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust gets thousands of young lives back on track. The charity achieves this by training and developing world class athletes to deliver personal, social and emotional development programmes for disadvantaged young people. Through transformational mentoring, young people become empowered them to realise the attitudes and behaviours needed to lead a positive life.

Sported

Sported is one of the leading Sport for Development charities in the UK, helping more than 3,000 community sport and youth groups survive and thrive.

What makes Sported's members so special is that each and every one uses the power of sport to transform the lives of young lives and local communities. Yet the majority are run on shoestring budgets, relying on the kindness and hard-work of a handful of dedicated staff and volunteers.

At Sported we support these local heroes by providing much needed professional expertise, resources and business mentoring to help build their group’s capacity and long-term sustainability. Helping to ensure the young people who could benefit most, can continue to access their vital support.
