Building the evidence based on real-world experience...
ConnectSport hosts 'Calls for Articles' led by the University students and young people we are working with. Articles focus on key themes and emerging subjects in sport for development, and authors range from practitioners and policy-makers, to beneficiaries and sector leaders. We provide editorial support where required. Our aim is to bring together academic knowledge and real‑world experience, and make it openly available. Collectively, we want to strengthen sector narratives and champion the role of sport in driving meaningful, sustainable change.

CLIMATE JUSTICE, SPORT AND SOCIAL IMPACT
Here we showcase how organisations across the UK are using sport and physical activity to respond to climate pressures, tackle inequality and strengthen community resilience. Managed by Freya Webster from Loughborough University, this section will help to connect a growing network of practitioners driving this important area of work. By sharing their stories and experiences, projects will help build an evidence base to support greater awareness, action and investment.
SPORT AND MIGRATION
Highlighting how projects across the UK are supporting refugees and asylum-seekers, and driving integration and cohesion in our communities. Managed by Arthur Bloyce from Durham University, this is a neutral space to share testimonies and practices that i) encourage knowledge exchange between programme stakeholders, and ii) build vital discourse reaffirming the value of community diversity, multidirectional integration and humane, considerate asylum policies. As projects share their stories and experiences, this will form an evidence base to support calls for more action to facilitate such initiatives.
