The Aston Villa Foundation is a registered charity. Our coaches deliver projects and activities in Birmingham across five key themes: health and wellbeing, disability, education and learning, young people and, sport and physical activity.
Since the formation of the Peterborough United Foundation in 2009, the former Football in the Community Scheme has delivered a variety of projects across 4 key themes outlined by the English Football League Trust and the Premier League. The 4 themes are: Sports Participation, Social Inclusion/Community Cohesion, Health and Education.
Women & Girls
Preston North End were chosen alongside five other north west clubs in 1986 to set up a community department. Over 30 years on, known as the Preston North End Community and Education Trust today, the department has progressed into putting Preston North End at the heart of its community.
We have already made a huge impact in many people’s lives through our different initiatives and the organisation has gone from strength to strength, not only in the development of participants but also the Trust as a whole has outdone expectations.
BCFC Community Trust uses the power of Birmingham City Football Club to engage and inspire people across the Birmingham and Solihull community by creating opportunities to improve their lives through sport. We use football to motivate and encourage our participants, believing that it can help to strengthen communities and improve confidence.
The Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme is the football club’s charitable arm, established to support the development of cohesive communities around South Yorkshire and to seek to increase engagement, training provision and support amongst its residents working across four key themes; Participation, NCS, Health and Education.
