Manchester United Foundation uses football to engage and inspire young people to build a better life for themselves and unite the communities in which they live.
Changing Lives FC, based in Harlow, Essex, are a football squad made of entirely migrant, asylum seekers or refugee. Every training session, and during every game, you can hear around a dozen different languages. They have all either fled war, terror or they are in desperate search of a better life. They are young men left to fend for themselves who would be extremely vulnerable in our society.
Global Diabetes Initiatives (GDI) is an advocacy and support organisation for people with diabetes. We work hand-in-hand with people with diabetes to help them manage the condition and improve their overall health. Ours is more than just a charitable organisation, we are a community of mutual support.
Our mission is to champion care-experienced young people by opening doors to professional sporting opportunities that connect, empower, and inspire. We believe that sport is more than a game it is a powerful catalyst for healing, growth and belonging. By bringing together young people from every background, we create a global community where vulnerability is met with strength, isolation turns into connection, and potential transforms into achievement.
