Wolves publish new environmental sustainability report

Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club has marked the second anniversary of its ‘One Pack, One Planet’ programme by publishing its annual environmental sustainability report.

The report highlights the club’s progress throughout 2024 towards achieving its four environmental commitments across carbon, waste, nature and culture.

One Pack, One Planet messaging was set to feature around the club’s Molineux Stadium for the Premier League game against Arsenal, reinforcing its environmental commitments and promoting the importance of sustainability and climate action. Players will wear campaign pin-badges and the matchday programmes will highlight the club’s sustainability efforts.

The club was also set to stage a series of initiatives for supporters attending the match, including discounts on vegan food and low-carbon meals, and new improved recycling bins around the stadium.

Thom Rawson, Wolves’ sustainability lead and founder of Sustainable Football, added: “At Wolves, sustainability is recognised as a whole club effort with all departments playing their role. This focus fixture weekend is a perfect opportunity to reflect on and celebrate the club’s collective achievements, while underlining the continued importance of climate action and sustainability progress.”
