Fight for Peace has launched its new Youth Leadership Training Package which has been developed in partnership with Sport England.
Co-created with its youth leaders, expert staff and sector leaders like UNICEF UK and Save the Children UK, the course is designed to help organisations empower young people to lead themselves, their communities and broader change.
The offer draws on over 25 years of Fight for Peace’s experience delivering youth leadership programmes globally, from its Academy in east London to communities around the world, and aims to strengthen youth leadership approaches across the sports sector.
The package includes:
- A refreshed Youth Leadership Methodology and Theory of Change
- A comprehensive two-day in-person training course
- Full curriculum and session plans
- A detailed participant handbook
- Tailored consultancy support
Fight for Peace's Head of Operations, James Morgan, commented: “We are very excited about what comes next in terms of working with these organisations and helping create the conditions for young leaders to build leadership skills and experience, while impacting inequalities across the country in line with Sport England’s strategic focus."
