Nominations open for Muslim Sports Awards 2025

Nominations are now open for the prestigious Muslim Sports Awards 2025.

The annual awards, co-ordinated by the Muslim Sports Foundation, aim to recognise and celebrate the achievements of the UK’s Muslim community from grassroots and community level, right through to professional sporting talent, and the stakeholders working hard behind the scenes.

The 2025 awards ceremony will take place on December 4 at Elland Road Stadium in Leeds. Categories range from sports personalities, coaches, elite athletes and rising stars of the year to highlighting community initiatives and the Masjid/Madrassah of the year.

The awards website read: “By establishing the Muslim Sports Awards, we aim to bridge this gap and provide a platform that not only celebrates the achievements of the Muslim community, but also instil a profound sense of accomplishment and pride. This initiative seeks to empower aspiring Muslims across the country, encouraging them to pursue their sporting dreams with determination and fostering a supportive environment that nurtures their growth and success.”
