GoodGym has secured support to launch in four new areas.
The national charity helps to co-ordinate a community of runners, walkers, and cyclists in more than 60 locations who get fit while doing good.
It combines exercise with volunteering to help community projects, supporting isolated older people, and improving green spaces. Sessions are free, social and open to all fitness levels.
MEANINGFUL
The new locations for Goodgym will be Bolton, Great Yarmouth, St Albans and Barking & Dagenham.
This will add to 24,612 Goodgym participants in 65 areas who have helped 59,540 local people with 385,796 tasks.
A spokesperson for the charity commented: “With our expansion, more people than ever can join the movement and turn their workouts into something truly meaningful.”
