The Mayor of London’s community sport team is looking to fund projects which support London’s LGBT+ community as part of its Sport Unites programme.
In a recent survey of Londoners, findings show that young people and LGBT+ Londoners are more likely to report social isolation and loneliness than other groups.
The Mayor’s Stronger Communities Fund is making grants of between £2,000 and £5,000 available to support projects which use sport and physical activity to help isolated Londoners feel better connected in their communities.
Organisations should apply before September 9 to be considered at the next panel meeting to assess applications. Find out how to apply here.
