ConnectSport CIC is delighted to announce a new collaboration with Upshot Systems CIC, a non-profit social enterprise, providing an easy-to-use Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) System.
The Upshot system enables more than 1400 sport and non-sport organisations to monitor, evidence and evaluate their impact effectively.
It also provides Upshot MEL Services which include workshops, data visualisation and creation of outcome frameworks such as a Theory of Change. MEL is critical to any programme as it forms the basis of measuring true impact for organisations committed to driving social change. A good MEL process enables organisations to easily collect and manage data, monitor progress in real time, measure impact effectively and evidence stories about their impact.
ConnectSport founder and managing director Simon Lansley said: “ConnectSport CIC has worked alongside and with Upshot on numerous projects over the last decade, so we are delighted to be making our partnership more official.”
Look out for Upshot services being featured on the ConnectSport website and across its communication channels, with plans for further mutually-beneficial partnership initiatives to follow.
Lin Wilson, Senior Consultant for Upshot, commented: “As Upshot was originally designed by the Football Foundation to show the impact of community sport, we are pleased to collaborate with ConnectSport and align with its mission to increase awareness of, and funding for sport for development projects.
"Collecting data effectively is vital to telling impact stories about the power of sport and we are looking forward to continuing and expanding our work together.”
