Team Wolverhampton SLAM! is the city's number one community basketball development club. Founded in 2008, Douaine Anderson, created the club to use basketball as a tool to educate and mentor young people to improve their life chances.

​Over the years Team Wolverhampton SLAM! has grown from an outdoor community initiative to a quality basketball development programme. Team Wolverhampton SLAM! CIC has teams participating in local, regional and national competitions and tournaments.​

Following the most successful season of basketball in the history of Wolverhampton, Team Wolverhampton SLAM! is now competing in the West Midlands' YBL (Your Basketball League CIC) and National League. As well as competitive teams, we continue to offer individual player development sessions to help players who are aspiring to play at the university level or play professionally.​
