Team Wolverhampton SLAM! Basketball is a community-focused basketball club and Community Interest Company founded in 2008 by Douaine Anderson. We use basketball as a vehicle to educate, mentor and inspire children and young people across Wolverhampton and the wider West Midlands.

SLAM! has grown from an outdoor community initiative into an established basketball development programme, with teams competing in regional and national competitions. Alongside our competitive pathway, we provide player-development sessions, mentoring, leadership opportunities and inclusive community activities.

We are committed to developing the whole person - not simply the player. Our programmes help young people improve their basketball ability, physical fitness, confidence, discipline, teamwork, resilience and aspirations, both on and off the court.
