Run For Your Life puts fitness first for those at risk, in prison and recently released so that they can mange their mood, persevere through setbacks and make a transition back into society as a force for good. We believe emotional resilience is key to successful rehabilitation for which good physical health and capacity is an essential prerequisite.
In prison
- We help prison Governors implement the recommendations of the 2018 Meek Report ‘A Sporting Chance’ on the role of sport and PE in rehabilitation.
- We specialise in engaging prisoners and staff who need the benefits and structure of regular physical activity by using endurance-based activities to improve emotional resilience.
In the community
- We work with those at risk, recently released and the staff who support them to put their fitness first, control their mental health and achieve their goals within a changing, challenging , complex environment.
