The Ross County Foundation is a registered charity in Scotland (SC045500) which exists to provide support and change for the better in the rural community of the Highlands and Islands. Last year the Foundation worked with over 3,000 participants from the local community on a number of different projects and initiatives.
The charity's main aims are to work on the promotion and public participation in sport in the Highlands and Islands, to work to support the advancement of education, health, community development and to provide relief to those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
The charity has worked on a number of initiatives including a social isolation project for the elderly, disability sports festivals, family therapy work and worked with reputable funders such as Children In Need and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
