Formed in the Autumn of 2015, The Essex Cricket Foundation takes over the role as the official charity arm of Essex County Cricket Club, continuing the excellent work of The Essex Cricket & Community Trust.

Money raised by The Essex Cricket Foundation is spent on delivering a variety of different programmes to ensure people from all sorts of backgrounds have the opportunity to experience the sport. Funds are spent on providing disability cricket, supporting Women & Girls initiatives as well as street programmes in urban areas across the County.

From assisting Clubs at grassroots level to assisting the next Alastair Cook along the cricketing pathway, we are helping to ensure that Cricket is continued to be played for many generations to come.
