The British Equestrian Federation oversees horse sports in the UK – representing the interests of 2.7 million riders, vaulters and carriage drivers via 19 independent Member Bodies. It is responsible for distributing government funding to the equestrian sports – whether that is to our top riders in the Olympic and Paralympic disciplines of Showjumping, Dressage, Eventing and Para-Dressage with the aim of winning medals for Great Britain, or encouraging complete beginners to get involved through riding or volunteering. The BEF is helping more people discover horses, get fit and improve their well-being.
