The charity Mind Over Mountains held its fourth annual ‘NatureMind Summit’ in partnership with the University of Central Lancashire in Burnley this week.
The non-profit summit brought together over 100 stakeholders from across the UK including NHS leaders, researchers, frontline practitioners, funders and community organisations – all united by one mission: to scale up what works in green social prescribing.
Summit attendees heard evidence that green social prescribing is improving wellbeing, reducing pressure on NHS services, and reaching those who feel left behind by traditional approaches.

Mind Over Mountains CEO Ian Sansbury commented: “NatureMind is becoming a key forum for green social prescribing nationally - and we were delighted to welcome such an amazing group of speakers, presenters, workshop leaders and participants. Huge thanks to everyone who played a part in making it happen…. together, we can continue to drive change and growth in this important space!”
The charity will be sharing further insights from the Summit soon. Visit mindovermountains.org.uk to find out more.
