Hollywood stars and club co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney helped to relaunch the official charitable arm of Wrexham AFC this week.
The relaunch came during the EFL’s Week of Action, with the Community Trust being rebranded as the Wrexham AFC Foundation.
The Foundation delivers targeted charitable activities across Wrexham, supporting health, education, equal opportunities and strengthening communities.

Head of Community Jamie Edwards said: “Wrexham AFC was created to provide the people of Wrexham with the opportunity to play football.
“In 2024, nearly 8,000 children live in poverty in Wrexham but through our targeted programmes we aim to continue the Club’s founding principle of providing opportunities through football.
“The Foundation aims to positively change children and young people’s lives using the power of football and Wrexham AFC. We want to improve health, support learning, provide equal opportunities and strengthen communities.”
Reynolds and McElhenney were recently praised in UK Parliament for their impact on the club and local community since taking over the North Wales club in February 2021.
