Skates Dagenham is a roller skating club for teenage girl's between the ages of 13-19, funded by London Sport. Our organisation is part of a charity called Community Resources in Dagenham, that supports volunteers in the community working in various different projects. 

We started running our sessions in July 2018. We run our sessions on Sundays from 5:30-6:30 at Kingsley Hall, we charge a £1 a session, provide rollerskates and wrist guards. Its a bit like a roller disco where we skate to music learn new skills and have lots of fun. We've had over 20 girl's that have participated in our sessions and have a core group of about 10 that come each week.
