Bristol Bears Community Foundation uses sport as a vehicle to engage with, educate, and support a broad range of community participants across Greater Bristol and beyond. The vast majority of our work targets those young and older people that live in some of the most disadvantaged wards in the country, let alone the South-West, and has been recognised nationally on a number of occasions for the life-changing impact it has had.

At Bath Rugby Foundation we use the core values of rugby to help develop young people mentally and physically. By using the values of Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline, Teamwork and Sportmanship our coaches encourage the children and young people we work with to develop a positive growth mindset and reach their true potential. We use sport to help participants to adopt a healthy lifestyle and build life skills.

The Wave Project

The Wave Project is a charity aimed at young people who are at risk of developing serious mental ill health.

The Croquet Association

The Croquet Association supports all forms of croquet, from playing in the garden and at local clubs, through to regional and national tournaments and international matches. 

Hope

Hope provides supported housing in Dorset for 92 single homeless individuals, combined with a training and development programme to empower them to change their lives and move forward into employment and their own independent accommodation.

Kendleshire Kids Foundation

The Kendleshire Kids Foundation’s programme involves the delivery of golf activities, using The Kendleshire Golf Club facilities, by our specialist coaches and one-to-one mentoring support through our associated company, Youth 8, whose specialist workers deliver important developmental engagement activities, understanding how important youth engagement is for positive future outcomes.
